Classroom guides and tutorials
Short, practical tutorials for the routines you run every day. Each guide takes two minutes to set up and uses free widgets. No account, no cost.
Start the day with a morning routine
Open the Morning Routine template and the first ten minutes run themselves.
- Swap the sample greeting for your own morning message.
- Paste your class list into the name picker and let it choose who shares.
- Start the 10-minute timer so the meeting never eats the first lesson.
Keep the noise down
The noise meter shows the room how loud it is, live.
- Project the noise meter during group work.
- Agree one rule with the class: stay in the green.
- Back it up with the traffic light: green for talk, red for silence.
Pick students fairly
No more ‘you always pick her’. Let the name picker decide.
- Paste names one per line into the picker.
- Remove each name after their turn so everyone gets a go.
- For teams and order, spin the wheel instead.
Run a class quiz
The Quiz Time template turns review into a game.
- Roll the dice to pick the question number.
- The name picker chooses the contestant.
- Keep score on the scoreboard and race the timer.
Manage group work without chaos
The Group Work template splits the class and keeps time.
- Paste your class list into the group maker and set group size.
- Start the timer so every group knows the deadline.
- Leave the noise meter running so volume polices itself.
End with an exit ticket
The last three minutes tell you what stuck. Open the Exit Ticket template.
- Change the exit question to match today’s lesson.
- Give students 3 minutes on the timer to answer.
- Run the quick poll to see the spread before they leave.
