Ready-made classroom board templates
A template is a starting board, not a slide deck. Each one opens on your dashboard with the timers already set and sample text ready to edit. Twenty-five free templates for the routines you run every day. Pick one, change the text, and teach.

Use this templateHow to open, edit and save a template
- Open the template. Click any ‘Use this template’ button on this page. The dashboard loads with the layout in place: timers already set, sample text ready to edit.
- Change the text. Click a text widget and type your own agenda, prompt or directions. Keep it to a few short lines so it reads from the back row.
- Add your class list. Open the name picker’s edit box and paste names one per line. The group maker works the same way.
- Check the timer. Every template comes with a sensible length already set. Use the preset buttons to change it to the length you use for this routine.
- Move or resize widgets. Drag a widget to move it, and drag its bottom-right corner to resize it. Delete anything you will not use.
- Pick a background. Open Settings and choose a board background: dots, grid, lines, navy, cream, rose, teal, sky, dark, plain, or your own image URL.
- Save it as your board. Press Save and give it a clear name, such as ‘Period 3 Bell Ringer’. It appears in your boards next time you open the dashboard in this browser.
- Project it. Press the fullscreen button so the browser toolbars disappear, and teach.
Sharing with a colleague. Use the Share button on the dashboard toolbar. If you have not changed anything, it copies the template link. If you have, it copies a link that rebuilds your edited layout on their device.
Moving between devices. Saved boards live in your browser, so a board saved on your classroom laptop will not appear on your home laptop by itself. The Share link is the simplest way to carry a board from one computer to another.
Build your own template
Start from an empty dashboard, add the widgets your routine needs, arrange and resize them, then press Save and name it clearly, for example “Period 3 Bell Ringer”. Share the link with your team and it works as a template for everyone.
Frequently asked questions
Are the templates free?
Yes. Every template is free, just like every widget. Open one, change the text, and save the board in your browser.
Can I change a template after opening it?
Of course. A template is just a starting layout with the timers already set and sample text in place. Add widgets, move things around, resize them by dragging the corner, then press Save.
Will my template still be there tomorrow?
Yes, if you press Save. Boards are stored in your browser on that computer. To move a board to another computer, use the Share button to copy a link.
Can I share a template with another teacher?
Yes. Open the template, press Share, and send the link. The other teacher gets the exact same board layout.
Do templates work on a projector?
Yes. Every template is built from the same projector-friendly widgets. Press the fullscreen button and teach.
